“Success is knowing your purpose in life, growing to reach your maximum potential, and sowing seeds that benefit others.”

– John C. Maxwell, The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth

HR & OD department is the conjoint of Human Resource and Organizational Development. The department specializes in HRM fundamental foundations with unique proposition of ‘Organizational Development’.

At the heart of the MA-HROD programme lies the power not just to build careers, but to transform lives. Our curriculum is designed to equip students with the tools, mindset, and moral compass needed to excel professionally and, more importantly, to make meaningful contributions to society. Our students are not here merely “to learn to lead”, but to lead with purpose. The industry today no longer seeks only problem-solvers it seeks solution designers: individuals who blend creativity and innovation with empathy, inclusivity, and strategic thinking.

We believe in the philosophy of “Experience to Mastery”, where learning unfolds through doing, reflecting and adapting. In our classrooms, field projects and case discussions, knowledge is not only gained – it is lived, tested and transformed.

The department strongly upholds the principle of “Apply and Learn”, fostering experiential learning through internships, industry observation visits, outbound training, soft skills and life skills development sessions, HR talks, Organizational Development lecture series and alumni interactions facilitated via Alumni Connect to support placement preparedness and opportunities. This is further enriched through a range of certificate courses that enhance both competence and confidence in real-world HR practice.

We as a team are deeply committed to nurturing the architects of a transforming future. And that journey begins with transforming oneself. Let the evolution here serve as a springboard to impact a transformed society whether in industry, policy or community.

Welcoming you to this journey of Curiosity-Driven Learning! Best Wishes!
