NSS-ETI
Madras School of Social Work which is approved and supported by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India as an ETI, is engaged in training new and Untrained NSS Programme Officers of various Universities and Directorates of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.The objective behind the seven day Orientation Training Programme is to make the Programme Officers equipped with the knowledge regarding the NSS – vision, mission, objectives, History & Philosophy of NSS, policies, programs & administrative structure of NSS and how to engage the NSS Volunteers at the community level.

It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the NSS-ETI, Madras School of Social Work. Madras School of Social Work supported by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, is engaged in training New and Untrained NSS Programme Officers of various Universities and Directorates of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands since 1972. It is well equipped with the state of art facilities and Infrastructure for conducting the NSS Orientation Training Programme to equip the NSS Programme Officers fully with the knowledge regarding NSS.
I am hopeful that these trained NSS Programme Officers will transform the NSS volunteers to next generation visionaries and thereby aid the process of Nation’s transformation

Our NSS Volunteers interacted with Mr. Sarath Kamal, who represents India in the upcoming Olympics. The program took place at mecheri centre, eldams road, teynampet. The session started at 11:00 and ended at 12:30. The students were interactive and gained knowledge from the interaction.
