Our Master of Social Work (MSW) program with a specialization in Mental Health is designed to prepare students in the field of mental health social work. Grounded in a comprehensive understanding of social work principles, ethics, and evidence-based practices, this program equips students with adequate knowledge and skills to address various mental health issues, provide counseling and support, advocate for clients rights, and work within communities to promote mental well-being.
Starting a Master of Social Work (MSW) program with a specialization in mental health meets a critical need in today’s society for qualified professionals who can address the complex challenges facing individuals, families, and communities affected by mental illness.

The P.G. Department of Social Work (Mental Health) is established in the academic year 2024 wth the Affiliation of the University of Madras. The course is approved by the university of Madras sanctioned 20 admission for each batch.
