Campus Placement

The graduates of Madras School of Social Work imbibe a culture of professionalism that is valued in a practical work environment and highly applauded by the recruiting organizations in various job domains, be it Human Resources, Community Development, Counselling, Social Development or Social Enterprises. Every year, the impact our students create on the organizations where they are selected keeps growing and this is a reason for the increasing number of organizations that choose to recruit our students, year after year. We hope to keep this growth reaching higher targets in the years to come.

My sincere appreciation and gratitude to the placement cell and its team of Madras School of Social Work for their continuous support and guidance on campus placements. Along with the student coordinators, the placement cell did an excellent job by getting in respectable companies with a decent pay package and offered good corporate visibility. The overall process of placement had been well coordinated and structured since all the campus drives were carried out on the basis of mutual convenience. Thanks to the placement officer, coordinators and all staff for encouraging us and facilitating the process in every step to help students obtain placements in reputed organizations.

My experience in Madras School of Social Work has been truly splendid. I got exposure to various practical experiences to practice my skills and theories of social work starting from rural camp in Chengalpattu, project fieldwork in kakkanjinagar, concurrent fieldwork in Rajiv Gandhi Govt. GH, to HR settings in LUCAS TVS, Rane Brake Lining and TCS. All these fieldworks made me strong in my communication and presentation skills. By the end of the curriculum, due to the placement cell, I also had the opportunity to attend ITC Foods business division campus drive in the college, with the constant support and positive motivation from the placement cell, I was fortunate enough to crack the interview process and get selected in the HR arena. It is an honour to be part of MSSW and my immense privilege to get guidance and support from all our dedicated faculties.
