MSSW and Kelsa are excited to welcome admissions for the sixth batch of the one year Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM). The program covers the entire gamut of HRM to prepare line managers and HR Professionals to design, implement and improve people systems and processes. The program provides, apart from academic inputs, practical knowledge, experience and diverse perspectives from industry experts.

- Open to graduates from any recognized university.
- Healthcare professionals (psychology, social work, frontline healthcare) can apply.
- Mothers with a graduate degree who want to enter social work/counselling work streams.
- Students without a psychology background require a preparatory bridge course

Organization Dynamics and Design
7.Human Behaviour in Organizations
The course provides a detailed analysis of individual and group behaviour in organizations. It revolves around providing holistic understanding of how human behaviour equips you to manage organizations more effectively and also increase the quality of employee’s work life.
8.Organization Structure and Design
This course provides and in-depth understanding of the various issues that affect the designing of effective organization structure. This course would enable participants to examine both internal and external factors pertaining to organization structure and their impact.

9.Managerial Communication
An examination of the roles of communication networks and strategies in managerial decision making. Emphasis on the role of communication skills in managing change, organizational conflict and corporate cultures.
10.HR Analytics
The course intends to improve the decision making relative to human capital investments, talent management and HR management by gathering information about what has the greatest impact on business results.
11.Industrial Relations
This course is designed to educate professionals on the relevant aspects of social legislation which would guide them. It is imperative for all managers to require basic knowledge of employment relation laws.
12.Employee Experience
As work from home becomes the new normal for many organisations, employee experience is a strategic business approach that touches every aspect of how the employee engages with the organization. This course would also have sessions on how to design, implement and sustain an inclusive culture.

- Selection process involves online test and a personal interaction via Zoom

Course Delivery
The course will be delivered fully online through the zoom platform. The online classes are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday (8 pm-10 pm) and Saturday (9:30 am-1:30 pm)
This would be a highly interactive course that would have polls, group activities (even on Zoom via breakout rooms), case studies etc., ensuring reinforcement of the learning. MSSW also ensures a high level of interaction& learning from co-participants.

Course participants in earlier batches were from Accenture, Amazon, Decathlon, Ernst & Young, TAFE, Michelin, Olam, Cognizant, KPMG, Maveric, Royal Enfield, Murugappa Group, CSS Corp, GE, TCS, Tata Communications, SCIO Health Analytics, Vodafone etc. In a batch, 70% – 80% of the participants would be HR Professionals interested to upskill and fasten the pace of career growth, and 20% – 30% of participants would be non-HR Professionals who plan to use the course as a stepping stone to move into a career in HR.
